The Tax Service of Ukraine received 500 thousand reports on the accounts of Ukrainians abroad

Ukraine began to receive data on the accounts of its citizens abroad as part of the international agreement on the automatic exchange of tax information. About this reported Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy of the Verkhovna Rada, Danylo Hetmantsev.
Currently, there are 500,000 such accounts with amounts exceeding 200,000 euros.
“Within the framework of the international agreement on the automatic exchange of tax information, Ukraine already receives information and reports on the accounts of Ukrainian citizens abroad. Currently, we are talking about 500,000 such accounts, where the amount exceeds 200,000 euros.”, – noted Hetmantsev.
When asked about the next steps for Ukrainians whose accounts abroad exceed the specified amount, Danylo Hetmantsev answered that this issue belongs to the competence of the Tax Service.
“It already depends on the tax office, let it deal with these issues”, he emphasized.
