The Ministry of Defense allowed mobile workshops for the repair of weapons to be put into operation
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and authorized the supply of Ukrainian-made mobile technical workshops intended for the repair of weapons and military equipment directly in the field.
As informs press service of the department, these repair shops exist in two variants: for repairing smaller models of equipment based on off-road pickups and on truck chassis for performing more complex work with large and heavy units of military equipment.
Mobile workshops are equipped with all the necessary equipment for the maintenance of weapons, including lifting equipment for loading and unloading parts weighing up to 5 tons. They allow you to control the characteristics of the main elements, adjust mechanisms and drives, as well as diagnose and eliminate malfunctions of electrical equipment.
These modules are equipped for metalworking and metalworking, tire fitting, soldering, refueling of high-pressure cylinders, and battery maintenance. All processes are organized taking into account comfortable conditions for personnel and equipped with modern tools and equipment.
Mobile workshops allow you to significantly speed up the process of repairing equipment, because you no longer need to waste time sending damaged equipment to the rear for maintenance. Thanks to such workshops, most repair work can be performed directly on the battlefield, which significantly increases the efficiency of maintenance and combat readiness of the Armed Forces.
