The “Palyanitsa” drone missile has already successfully passed a combat test, but the main problem remains its mass production for the needs of the army. This was stated by the Minister of Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin during the telethon.
For in the words of Smetanin, the Ukrainian military has already used “Palyanitsa” in combat conditions, which was confirmed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. “There have been successful cases of use. The main task today is to increase the volume of production so that as many of these drones as possible get to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is the main task for our defense-industrial complex.” – said the minister.
For the first time, the defense forces used the Ukrainian long-range missile-drone “Palyanytsia” to destroy a military target on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. The operation was carried out in August of this year.
In addition, Ukraine will receive 10 million euros from Lithuania for the purchase of Palyanytsia drone missiles.
