The US Embassy in Kyiv published warning for its citizens about a possible “serious missile attack” on the territory of Ukraine, which may occur on November 20, 2024. The appeal advises US citizens to be prepared to take shelter immediately in the event of an air alert. It is noted that the threat covers all regions of Ukraine.
The embassy urges you to follow the reports in the local media, determine the nearest shelters in advance and go to them immediately in case of an alarm. In addition, citizens are recommended to follow the instructions of the Ukrainian civil protection services.
The day before, on November 19, the US Embassy called on Americans to exercise special caution in the coming weeks, to prepare for possible power and water outages, to ensure a supply of food, water, basic necessities, as well as a sufficient number of necessary medicines.
For a long time, Russia refrained from large-scale missile attacks on Ukraine, but on November 17 it launched a combined attack on the energy infrastructure. On this day, 210 enemy air targets were recorded, including 120 missiles and 90 drones. The Air Force of Ukraine destroyed 144 objects: 102 missiles and 42 drones. As a result of these attacks, electricity supply restriction schedules were introduced in Ukraine.
