As a reminder, after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the EU activated the Temporary Protection Directive, which allows Ukrainians to stay legally in the EU and enjoy basic social services such as healthcare, education and employment. In June, the EU Council decided to extend temporary protection until 4 March 2026 for Ukrainian citizens.
