There were shootings on the border of Pakistan and India

On April 25, a firefight took place on the border between Pakistan and India. Another armed clash was recorded in another district, informs NEWS18.
Pakistani forces opened fire at several points along the Line of Control. Ceasefire violations were also reported in Handwara sector, located in Kupwara district. There is currently no information about the victims.
“There were incidents of small arms at some places along the Line of Control initiated by Pakistan,” – says the message.
The event coincided with the visit of the Chief of Staff of the Indian Army General Upendra Dwivedi to the city of Srinagar. The purpose of the visit was to assess the security situation in the Jammu and Kashmir region following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam district.
In addition, another incident was recorded in Bandipora district (North Kashmir). An armed clash took place there between the Indian military and militants. The operation was launched after receiving intelligence about the presence of armed persons in the settlement of Kulnar-Bazipora.
Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said the latest developments could lead to “total war” between India and Pakistan:
“The world should be worried about the prospect of a full-scale conflict between countries that have nuclear weapons”.
He also expressed hope that the tensions will be resolved through negotiations.
We will remind that on April 22, a group of armed people attacked tourists in Pahalgama district. As a result of the attack, 25 Indian citizens and one tourist from Nepal were killed. A little-known group called the Kashmiri Resistance claimed responsibility for the attack. The Indian side accuses Pakistan of organizing the attack, but the Pakistani authorities reject these accusations and insist that it is a “local insurgency”.
