This year, the state received 977 million hryvnias from privatization: SPFU

During the first half of 2025, the state budget of Ukraine received 820.5 million hryvnias from privatization, as well as 156.59 million hryvnias of value added tax. In total, this gave more than 977 million hryvnias of economic effect, informs the press service of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (FSMU).
“Thanks to transparent auctions and competition, effective owners were found, ready to develop and modernize the purchased objects. During this reporting period, the State Property Fund team conducted 236 successful privatization auctions.” – the message says.
Privatization auctions were marked by a high level of competition — a total of 1,946 participants took part in the auctions, and the average figure was 7 people per lot.
“Such intense competition for objects led to a significant increase in their market value. On average, the price of privatized objects increased almost 4 times from the starting price. In the second half of the current year, the FSMU team plans to keep up the momentum. Continued active work and new auctions are expected.”, the Foundation added.
As early as August 13, an online auction for the sale of the state package of shares, which constitutes 100% of the authorized capital of PJSC “Vinnytsiapobuthim”, will be held. Last week, the State Property Fund held six successful online auctions, the total value of which exceeded 66 million hryvnias.
