The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a new mechanism for raid checks of trucks and buses, which will work through the “eInspector” system. About this informs Ministry of Community Development.
Ukrtransbezpeka inspectors will receive tablets with inspection checklists, where all questions and answers will be recorded in the electronic system. If violations are detected, the system will automatically signal about them, after which the inspector will draw up the appropriate report.
“It will be impossible to turn a blind eye to violations, because everything is recorded in numbers,” – noted Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Serhii Derkach.
The Ministry of Development will soon approve the final list of questions for the transport inspection. The digital format is expected to reduce corruption risks, make inspections more transparent and speed up their execution. Carriers and drivers will be able to make sure that the check is correct, and inspectors will not manipulate the data.
It is noted that the resolution will enter into force three months after its official publication – in May 2025.
