US President Donald Trump stated about the intention to meet with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi this or next week to sign an agreement on minerals.
“I will meet with President Zelensky. In fact, he may come this week or next week, and that would be good.” Trump said.
According to him, the meeting may take place to sign an agreement between Ukraine and the USA on rare earth metals.
“All G7 leaders expressed their desire for the war to end, and I emphasized the importance of a vital agreement on critical minerals and rare metals between the US and Ukraine, which we hope will be signed very soon”*, – emphasized Trump.
It will be recalled that last week US Treasury Minister Scott Bessent presented in Kyiv a draft agreement on rare earth metals, which provides for the creation of a fund from the proceeds of their sale.
