Trump is ready to give part of the territory of Ukraine to Putin and prohibit it from joining NATO – Politico
If re-elected to the post of US president, Donald Trump will offer the Russian Federation an agreement according to which NATO undertakes not to expand to the east — not to include Georgia and Ukraine in the alliance.

Former US President Donald Trump, if returned to the White House, may end the NATO expansion policy in order to reach an agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He can also give part of Ukrainian territories to the Russian Federation. It is about this in materials Politico, with reference to two national security experts who are supporters of Trump.
According to the publication, at the moment it is only about the project, and not about the finished solution.
Trump intends to offer Putin an agreement that provides for NATO’s refusal to expand to the east – not to grant membership to Ukraine and Georgia. In addition, the parties will reach an agreement on what part of the occupied territory of Ukraine can remain under the control of Moscow.
Politico notes that such a plan could set the tone for the Alliance’s promise of Ukraine’s future membership, a policy that incumbent President Joe Biden has continued without committing to a timeline. The authors of the article recalled Trump’s recent statement to journalists, according to which the proposal for Kyiv’s membership in NATO was a mistake that led to the start of the war.
The article also states the opinion of an expert, according to which “many in the Trump camp openly prefer NATO without Ukraine.” According to one of the publication’s sources, Donald Trump, most likely, will not try to ensure that Ukraine “returns to the borders of 1991”. At the same time, the possibility of “supplying large amounts of weapons to Kyiv” is being considered.
