Trump lifted the rule that allowed transgender people to serve in the US military

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order revoking a provision that allowed transgender servicemen to serve in the military. About this reported in the White House.
Trump rescinded the executive order of his predecessor, Joe Biden. Although the new ban has not yet been introduced, the repeal of this provision opens the possibility for its implementation in the future. According to the US Department of Defense, before Trump’s first ban in 2019, about 8,000 transgender servicemen served in the military.
Trump also said the government would recognize only two genders — male and female — and that diversity and inclusion programs at federal agencies would be eliminated.
It will be recalled that earlier the newly elected president announced that he would fight against “gender madness” during his second term.
