Trump said that the first Patriot missiles are already being delivered to allies

US President Donald Trump said that the first Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems have already been transferred to European allies, who will fully compensate Washington for the costs of supplying these systems. During a conversation with journalists at the Andrews air base, he commented on the situation with the transfer of weapons to partner countries, informs Reuters.
“They come from Germany and then they are replaced by Germany. And in all cases the United States gets paid in full.” Trump emphasized.
He noted that financing will mostly be provided by the European Union or NATO member states.
“NATO is going to pay us for everything. In some cases we will be reimbursed directly by the countries of the European Union. We always get our money back in full. So we don’t have to invest any more.” – added the US president.
Trump also emphasized that the United States has no intention of sending American troops to Ukraine.
“We save five or six thousand soldiers a week. These are Russian and Ukrainian soldiers. They are not American soldiers. And we will not step on the ground. But it is a shame.”, he noted.
It will be recalled that on July 14, the USA and NATO signed an agreement according to which American weapons will be supplied to Ukraine at the expense of funding from European states. As NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated, within the framework of this agreement, Kyiv will be able to receive a significant number of air defense systems, missiles and ammunition.
