Trump threatens students with severe penalties for participating in protests

US President Donald Trump has announced that he will end federal funding to educational institutions that allow illegal protests. In addition, he warned that students participating in such actions will either be deported or imprisoned. About this informs The Cradle.

In a scathing statement, Trump announced strong action against colleges, schools and universities that allow illegal protests to take place on their grounds. Any educational institution that does not take adequate measures to prevent violent or illegal actions will immediately lose federal funding, he said.

“Any federal funding will be cut off for any college, school or university that allows illegal protests“, Trump emphasized.

He also stressed that foreign agitators participating in the protests will either be arrested or deported. As for American students involved in such actions, Trump said they could face serious sanctions, including expulsion from educational institutions without the right to renew or even arrest, regardless of the severity of the violation.
