Ukraine has begun blocking online pharmacies and sites with fake certificates

Over 100 sites were blocked in Ukraine during the month, including online pharmacies and platforms with fake certificates. About this reported command Uablocklist.
In addition, the fight against gambling resources continued – although there were significantly fewer blocks last month than in March (when 32,000 domains were banned), access to 58 casino sites was restricted in May.
Access to pro-Russian resources was also limited. Even Western domains, including the Polish DoPzeczy and WPolityce, as well as the Swiss uncut‑news.ch and TransistorNews, were on the blocked list. In addition to them, several regional online platforms, such as tavria.tv and hersonka.ru, addressed to residents of the occupied and front-line territories, were blocked.
Among the novelties of May is a significant number of online pharmacies: at least 16 sites were blocked, probably due to the sale of prescription drugs without proper control. In addition, they closed 7 platforms that sold alcohol and tobacco products in violation of excise or age legislation.
Last month, resources with fake documents for departure were also blocked, as well as Facebook accounts and advertising rooms used in fraudulent schemes or to bypass social media moderation.
Unexpectedly, among those blocked is the site kadastr, which is related to land registries. Official information about the reason for the blocking was not provided, but analysts assume that it was done due to a possible cyber threat or the risk of personal data leakage. In addition, access to the Tipok vape online store was banned.
