90 Ukrainian soldiers returned from Russian captivity (video)

Another exchange of prisoners took place, as a result of which Ukraine returned another 90 soldiers from Russian captivity.

About this reported The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, emphasized that among them are those who defended cities, objects of important infrastructure and land in all directions of the war.

Those who defended Mariupol. Those who defended the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Those who were on the Kherson, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia and Luhansk directions. We remember all our people in Russian captivity. We continue our work for the liberation of each and every one”, – he wrote.

In the Coordination Headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war pointed out that the soldiers of the National Guard, Navy, Armed Forces of Ukraine, territorial defense and border guard have returned to Ukraine. In particular, 32 National Guardsmen, 18 border guards, 17 sailors, 15 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 8 Teroboronmen returned to their native shores. Among them are 59 heroes of the defense of Mariupol, including 52 soldiers who served in the legendary “Azovstal”.

President Zelenskyy emphasized that this exchange is only part of the long and difficult work of freeing Ukrainian prisoners of war. He expressed his gratitude to the team managing the exchange process and to all partners, including the UAE, for their support.

IN Telegram channels of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, showed the state of health of Ukrainian soldiers released from Russian captivity, after long detention in grueling conditions.

The press service of the DPSU emphasizes that currently the restoration of these soldiers involves meetings with family and friends, a long-term rehabilitation process and the possibility of returning to normal life after the hardships experienced.
