Ukraine has officially joined the Digital Public Goods Alliance (DPGA), a global initiative that unites countries and organizations to promote the spread of digital innovations and ensure equal access to digital services worldwide. The initiative is supported by UNDP and the UNICEF Innovation Office. About this reported Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

This cooperation opens up new prospects for Ukraine in the field of digitization, allowing to exchange experience in creating a digital state. One of the country’s key achievements is the Diya mobile application, which is used by almost 21 million Ukrainians. The opening of the “Action” code will allow other countries to use Ukrainian solutions to develop their own digital products and services.

Participation in DPGA gives Ukraine the opportunity not only to demonstrate its achievements, but also to adopt the best practices in digitalization from other participating countries, such as Estonia, France, Singapore, Norway, and African and Latin American countries.

The move is part of the global 50-in-5 initiative, which aims to develop digital services in 50 countries within five years.

In addition, Ukraine joined the ministerial statement on the safe development of artificial intelligence, adopted during the second international summit on the safety of artificial intelligence. The statement was supported by representatives of 27 countries and the European Union, which indicates the country’s intentions to actively cooperate in the field of innovative technologies.
