However, a number of experts express doubts about the implementation of such ambitious plans. According to the calculations of the “Military” edition, the cost of producing this number of missiles will be at least $3 billion, not including the costs of new machines and expansion of production capacity.
Director of the Defense Express company, Serhiy Zgurets, emphasized that the rate of production of 3,000 missiles per year would mean the production of eight missiles per day, which even exceeds Russia’s figures.
To achieve this goal, a number of tasks must be completed:
- decentralize and simplify production processes to ensure safety and efficiency;
- establish a stable supply of imported components for production.
This year, Ukrainian manufacturers have already produced more than 2.5 million mortar and artillery shells of various calibers, and in 2025 it is planned to produce at least 30,000 long-range drones.
