The White Business Club includes companies associated with sanctioned persons: Opendatabot

There are currently almost 8,000 companies in the “White Business Club” that meet the standards of transparent business conduct in Ukraine. However, among them there were also those with connections to persons under sanctions, and 24 of them were owned by citizens of the Russian Federation at the beginning of the full-scale war. Relevant information made public The opendatabase.

“7,997 companies have entered the White Business Club. These are companies that must demonstrate openness, pay taxes honestly, submit reports and have no ties to Russia.

However, at the time of the full-scale invasion, 24 companies from the club had Russian owners. Currently, there is no official Russian footprint in any of these businesses. We would like to remind you that since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, there has been a moratorium on changing registration data in companies with owners from Russia, except for a few cases clearly defined by law.” – says the message.

Opendatabot analyzed the companies included in the trusted list of the State Tax Service and identified among them enterprises related to sanctioned persons through joint business. In particular, two companies belong to the group of Kozak brothers, who have connections with Viktor Medvedchuk’s business.

The list also includes enterprises related to the “Alef” corporation, which is owned by under-sanctioned Vadym Yermolayev, as well as Burisma Group, the owner of which is included in the Register of Corrupt Persons.
