Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy three Russian command posts with Storm Shadow missiles: General Staff

The Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully struck three command posts of Russian troops with the help of Storm Shadow missiles and GMLRS shells. About this informs General Staff of the Armed Forces.
“The other day, successful fire damage was inflicted on the command posts of the 35th and 27th separate motorized rifle brigades, as well as one of the command posts of the 2nd Combined Arms Army of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The results of the strikes are being clarified.”, – it is stated in the official message.
The operation was carried out by units of the Air Force, missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in coordination with other units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. As noted in the General Staff, Storm Shadow missiles and GMLRS rockets were used to hit the targets.
Operational situation at the front
According to the General Staff, 159 combat clashes took place on October 4, in particular, more active offensive activity by Russian troops was observed in the Kupyansk direction than in the Pokrovsky direction.
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a successful operation in the Lyptsi region of Kharkiv Oblast. At the same time, the offensive actions of the Russian occupiers were recorded near Kreminnaya, Toretsk, Pokrovsk and west of Donetsk.
British intelligence warns that after the capture of Vugledar, Russian forces are likely to continue their offensive. The village of Bogoyavlenka and Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region may be under threat.
