Prosecutor General initiates investigation into disability of 50 prosecutors in Khmelnytskyi region
In connection with the outcry caused by the notification of registration of disability groups by 50 prosecutors of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine signed an order to conduct an official investigation. About this informs press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
As stated in the official notification, the investigation will cover not only cases related to the Khmelnytskyi regional prosecutor’s office, but also other prosecutor’s offices throughout the country. The commission responsible for the official investigation has already started collecting the necessary documents and facts to clarify all the circumstances.
The reason for the investigation was the material of the editor of the publication “Censor. No” Yuriy Butusov, published on October 16, in which it is stated that 49 prosecutors of the Khmelnytskyi region have issued disability certificates, at the same time hinting at the possible involvement in this process of the former head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise Tatyana Krupa and her son Oleksandr Krupa, who managed the regional Pension Fund.
In the article, Butusov emphasizes that almost all the prosecutors of the region received disability of the 2nd group on the basis of the decisions of the chief doctor of MSEK Tetyana Krupa. According to these decisions, prosecutors receive disability pensions from the state, and these payments are confirmed by the decisions of Oleksandr Krupa, head of the Pension Fund of the Khmelnytsky region.
Yuriy Butusov also provided a list of prosecutors who, according to him, received disability, although, according to him, this list is not final. The material states that among the leadership of the Khmelnytskyi regional prosecutor’s office, only one prosecutor — Oleksandr Gonchar, head of the Kamianets-Podilskyi district prosecutor’s office — did not take advantage of this scheme and did not receive a pension through Krupa.
