Ukrainians advised to refrain from traveling to the Middle East

Ukrainians were advised to refrain from traveling to the countries of the Middle East due to Israel’s resumption of hostilities against the Hamas group. About this informs press service of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.

“As a result of Israel’s renewed military actions against the militants of the terrorist group Hamas, the risks for the stay of Ukrainian citizens in the countries of the Middle East have increased. On March 18, Israel carried out airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon and southern Syria, announcing the start of the military operation “Strength and Sword”. – the message says.

According to the information of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Gideon Saar, the operation will have a long-term nature. According to him, this is not a one-day attack, and the IDF will continue the military operation.

“For security reasons, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine does not recommend that citizens of Ukraine visit the Gaza Strip, Israel, Syria, Lebanon and other countries of the Middle East until the end of active hostilities.” – noted in the department.
