Ukrtelecom officially joined Connect Europe

The Connect Europe General Assembly passed a decision to grant Ukrtelecom full membership in the association — about it it is said in the official notification of the organization.
“Our participation in Connect Europe is an important milestone both for Ukrtelecom and for Ukraine’s integration into Europe’s digital community. Despite the war, we continue to build sustainable, modern infrastructure that connects people, supports the economy and strengthens national security. We are ready to share our unique experience, contribute to Europe’s digital sustainability and work together to create a safe, inclusive and innovative digital future.” – said the general director of JSC “Ukrtelecom” Yuriy Kurmaz.
In turn, Connect Europe CEO Alessandro Gropelli emphasized that the inclusion of Ukrtelecom in the association is a symbolic gesture that demonstrates support for the digital unity of the continent:

This is a strong signal about the future of digital unity in Europe. The Connect Europe association unites providers of digital networks and telecommunications services from European countries and neighboring regions. Ukrtelecom became the 43rd member of this organization, which strengthens the role of Connect Europe as an important platform for interaction in the fields of policy, investment, innovation, competition and digital inclusion across the continent and beyond.
