“It is better not to wait, but to hit the launchers in Russia if they attack us. A combination of high-precision strikes is needed that will disable the systems used to attack us, and we must strike first.”, said the head of NATO’s military committee, Admiral Rob Bauer.
According to him, NATO has changed its attitude to the concept of defense, realizing that waiting for an attack is impractical. Now the Alliance is ready to act in advance and deliver powerful preemptive strikes. He also emphasized that European countries have time to prepare, because although the Russian army has increased in numbers compared to 2022, its quality has significantly decreased.
“For now, the Russians are not as much of a threat as they were in February 2022, so we have some time to prepare.”, – summed up the admiral.
