Volodymyr Zelenskyy plans to involve the EU and NATO in negotiations with Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference with the President of the European Council Antonio Kosta expressed the desire to involve the European Union and NATO in future negotiations with Russia. According to him, the end of the war will depend on the start of the negotiation process, and by that time, Ukraine should strengthen its position with the support of international partners.
“What does that mean? The most important thing that was in our victory plan was the weapons package, including a good, sufficient number of long-range missiles, various points that were spelled out. It was in our plan that we shared not only with our American partners, and with European partners”, – the president noted.
Zelensky emphasized that negotiations are possible only after Ukraine receives the necessary support that will strengthen its position.
“When we have this list, then we can sit down and talk. Who will be at this negotiating table? Yes, Russia, Ukraine and, as I said, the European Union and NATO. Why? Because we see ourselves as part of the security system in these alliances . Both in the EU and in NATO. And in this format, I understand when we can sit down, because I will understand who is around us and what we can agree on.” Zelenskyi explained.
