Zelensky instructed to form a delegation for new negotiations with Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi commissioned to form an official delegation to conduct new negotiations with the Russian side. It will be headed by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umyerov.
“Instructed to form a delegation for negotiations with the Russian side. The delegation will be headed by Rustem Umyerov, the delegation will include representatives of Ukrainian intelligence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Office of the President”, — said Zelensky.
NSDC Secretary Rustem Umyerov informed about the implementation of the agreements reached during the second meeting with representatives of the Russian Federation in Istanbul, as well as about the agreement to organize a new meeting in the near future. He emphasized that Ukraine is ready to work as efficiently as possible to release prisoners, return kidnapped children, stop killings and prepare for a meeting of leaders for a real end to the war.
“Our position is as transparent as possible. Ukraine never wanted this war, and it is Russia that must end the war that it started.” – said Umerov.
Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, in turn, reported on the coordination of diplomatic work of Ukraine with partners in Europe and the United States.
“Ukraine is ready to work as productively as possible for the release of our people from captivity and the return of abducted children, as well as the cessation of killings and the preparation of a meeting of leaders for the real end of this war. Our position is as transparent as possible. Ukraine never wanted this war, and it is Russia that must end the war that it started.” – concluded Zelensky.
