Zelensky reported on the meeting with the head of the NATO Military Committee

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, met with the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, who arrived in Ukraine on his first international visit in this position. Together they visited a defense enterprise, where they got acquainted with the production capabilities and characteristics of Ukrainian long-range weapons. Zelensky reported about it on social networks on February 8.
The head of state noted that key issues were discussed during the meeting, including preparation for the next meeting in the Rammstein format, further military support from NATO member states, as well as direct investments in the production of long-range drones in Ukraine.
The President thanked Giuseppe Cavo Dragone for his attention to Ukraine and expressed his gratitude to Ukrainian specialists working on the development of long-range weapons. According to him, such developments are a significant factor in deterring the enemy and are highly appreciated by the allies.
“I am grateful to Giuseppe Cavo Dragone for the first foreign visit in this position to Ukraine. Thanks to the people working on our long-range weapons for the real result, which helps us a lot, which the Russians are very afraid of and which our NATO partners see.” the president wrote.
In addition to the meeting with Zelenskyi, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone also held talks with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi. Within the framework of the visit, the parties discussed topical issues of military cooperation and strategic cooperation between Ukraine and NATO.
