Ukrposhta successfully sold 531 old cars at the auction, receiving a 60% premium

On April 30, Ukrposhta held 7 auctions for the sale of 531 old company cars on the Prozorro.Sales platform. According to the results of the auction, the total amount of revenue was 3,281,070 hryvnias, which is 60% more than the starting price of 2,049,027 hryvnias.
Director General of Ukrposhta Ihor Smilyanskyi commented hate that the company faced due to the sale of used cars. He noted that Ukrposhta is a joint-stock company, not a state-owned company, and cannot simply transfer the property of the Armed Forces.
“We showed that we also know how to write, even if it may seem to someone that such communication is unformatted, non-standard, not worthy of a “state company“”, Smilyanskyi added.
He also emphasized that Ukrposhta conducted auctions transparently, and the funds received will be directed to the development of the company and preparation for winter.

In 2023, Ukrposhta increased its net income by UAH 1.3 billion to UAH 11.6 billion. The company’s net loss decreased by 37% to UAH 796 million. Ukrposhta continues to implement strategic investment projects aimed at upgrading the infrastructure, automating the network and strengthening resistance to interruptions.
