“Zelensky’s thousand” will not be taken into account when calculating income for social assistance

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine changed the procedure for calculating the income of families for receiving social assistance and updated the rules for the payment of one-time cash assistance to children and people with disabilities of the I group from among internally displaced persons for the winter period of 2024-2025. About this reported permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.
In particular, the government made changes to the procedure for calculating the average monthly total family income and granting benefits to certain categories of citizens. From now on, the one-off payments “Winter Support” and “National Cashback” will not be taken into account when calculating the total income of the family.
The procedure for using state funds aimed at social protection of citizens in difficult life circumstances has also been updated. For children and persons with disabilities of group I among IDPs, a one-time benefit for the winter period will be paid through organizations engaged in the delivery of pensions at the actual place of residence (in cases where it is technically impossible to transfer funds to bank accounts).
In addition, changes were made to the procedure for transferring information about recipients of one-time assistance “Winter Support” and “National Cashback” to the Pension Fund and the Information and Computing Center of the Ministry of Social Policy.
