Zelensky signed a law on a 50% discount in case of voluntary payment of a fine to the CCC

Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed draft law No. 12093, which defines the mechanisms of bringing people to administrative responsibility for violating the rules of military accounting. In addition to the possibility of paying only 50% of the fine imposed by the TCC, the new law provides for the closure of administrative proceedings regarding violation of military registration for persons who voluntarily decide to join the ranks of the Armed Forces, reported Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Transformations and Digitalization.
“The President signed the draft law No. 12093! Thank you for your support! Military personnel who defended the country and did not have time to update their data are exempted from paying fines. This is fair. And civilians will have a convenient opportunity to pay the fine with a 50% discount in Reserve+.” – the message says.
We will remind that the Verkhovna Rada adopted this document on March 13. The law provides for amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, aimed at improving the mechanisms of prosecution for violations of the rules of military accounting and legislation on defense, mobilization training and mobilization.
The draft law simplifies the procedure for consideration of administrative cases under Articles 210 and 210-1 of the Criminal Procedure Code. In particular, it allows citizens who have not updated their data without valid reasons to pay 50% of the minimum fine (8.5 thousand UAH) by independently starting the procedure for reviewing the case and imposing a fine through the electronic cabinet.
Also, updating personal data will be a necessary condition for economic booking and access to other key functions of the Electronic Cabinet. It is expected that these changes will cover a significant part of citizens who are conscripted.
