Housing prices in Ukraine increased by 11.2% over the year: State Statistics Service

According to the results of the first quarter of 2025, housing prices in Ukraine increased by 11.2% compared to the same quarter last year. About this reported State Statistics Service of Ukraine (State Statistics Service).

According to the agency’s data, the rate of housing price growth slowed down in the primary market: in January-March 2025, they increased by 14.8%, while in the same period of 2024, they increased by 17.6%. Two-room apartments rose in price the most — by 15.1%. Prices for one-room and three-room apartments increased by 14.4%.

An even more significant slowdown was observed in the secondary market: price growth amounted to 9.3% against 15.3% in the first quarter of the previous year. The price of one-room apartments increased by 9%, two-room apartments by 9.7%, and three-room apartments by 9.4%.

Compared to the fourth quarter of 2024, overall housing price growth in the first quarter of 2025 was 3.9%. In particular, prices rose by 4.3% in the primary market, and by 3.6% in the secondary market. By types of apartments in the primary market, prices increased: for one-room apartments – by 4.4%, for two-room and three-room apartments – by 4.2%. In the secondary market, the growth was 3.7%, 3.5% and 3.7%, respectively.

We will remind, according to the results of 2024, housing prices in Ukraine increased by 12.7%. The State Statistics Service specified that the given data do not cover temporarily occupied territories and regions where hostilities are ongoing or have been ongoing.
