Zelenskyi and Sybiga announced bilateral cooperation of Ukraine with Papua, New Guinea and Panama

Ukraine and Papua New Guinea reached agreements on strengthening bilateral relations and plan to establish official diplomatic ties already this year. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga.

“I met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Justin Tkachenko to thank Papua New Guinea for its principled support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as the Peace Formula”, – wrote he is on the social network H.

Sibiga emphasized that both countries agreed to intensify bilateral cooperation and start the official establishment of diplomatic relations by the end of this year. This will be an important step in the development of cooperation between Ukraine and Papua New Guinea, and will also contribute to the expansion of cooperation in various fields.

It is also known that on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting with the President of Panama, Jose Mulino. During the negotiations, they discussed the implementation of the Peace Formula, the expansion of cooperation within the framework of the UN Security Council, as well as the development of bilateral relations.

“We talked about the implementation of the Peace Formula, strengthening our cooperation within the UN Security Council and the development of bilateral relations. We agreed to develop cooperation in agriculture”, – reported Zelenskyi on the Telegram channel on Wednesday.

Separately, he expressed his gratitude to Panama for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
