Zelenskyy agreed to Trump’s proposal to suspend strikes on Russian energy facilities

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to suspend strikes on Russian energy facilities during a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump. About this informs Bloomberg.
Zelensky conveyed his consent to Trump during a telephone conversation on March 19. Both sides agreed to work together to further extend the ceasefire.
Trump described his conversation with Zelensky as “very good” and noted that a significant part of the dialogue was related to his previous conversation with Vladimir Putin. The discussion concerned the coordination of the positions and needs of both Russia and Ukraine.
We will remind that after a telephone conversation between the leaders of the USA and the Russian Federation on March 18, it became known that Putin rejected Washington’s proposal for a full 30-day ceasefire, which Ukraine had previously agreed to. Instead, the Russian president supported the parties’ agreement on a 30-day abstinence from attacks on energy facilities.
Nevertheless, on March 19, Zelenskyi said that Russian forces had struck Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, although Putin had allegedly pledged to stop such attacks for 30 days.
