Zelenskyy created a Coordination Council for the Rehabilitation and Support of Military Personnel

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, signed Decree No. 389/2025, by which he created the Coordination Council for Rehabilitation and Support of Servicemen and other persons participating in the defense of Ukraine. The relevant document published on the website of the head of state.

The Coordinating Council is an advisory body under the president, designed to provide support to the military and combatants. Its activities include the analysis of needs for rehabilitation services, the development of proposals for improving treatment, the creation of new institutions and support centers, as well as the preparation of legislative initiatives and the implementation of international experience.

The Council interacts with state authorities and the public sector to realize its goals. It consists of a chairman, a secretary and members who perform their duties on public grounds. Meetings must be held at least once a quarter, and decisions are made by majority vote. Technical support of the council’s work is carried out by the Office of the President and the State Administration of Affairs.

Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak has been appointed the head of the Coordination Council. The Chairman of the Coordination Council is responsible for convening meetings and forming the agenda, presides during meetings, and also represents the Council in interaction with central and local bodies of executive power, other state structures, local self-government bodies, public associations, enterprises, institutions, organizations and mass media.
