Zelenskyy instructed to introduce a long-term moratorium on business inspections

President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the government to introduce a long-term moratorium on business inspections in order to protect entrepreneurs from any pressure. That’s what he’s about stated during a speech at the “Government and Business Forum: From Dialogue and Partnership”.
“We in the state are aware that it is economic growth that should fill the budget, not just pressure, not just squeezing funds from the economy, and good decisions do not happen without good teams that generate ideas and ensure the implementation of decisions. That is why we need a state dialogue with all social forces, and in particular with entrepreneurs.”, – the president noted.
Zelensky emphasized that the “Made in Ukraine” policy of supporting domestic entrepreneurship has already proven to be “extremely effective.” This initiative covers grant programs, affordable credit, domestic demand support and export assistance. According to the president, more than 70,000 enterprises and entrepreneurs have already taken advantage of state programs.
“Today, government officials will present new steps, programs that are already being prepared: from increasing grants, expanding localization in procurement to reforming labor legislation. Also, I have already instructed to prepare a decision on a long-term moratorium on business inspections – in order to protect business from any pressure from unscrupulous people in various positions.” Zelenskyi explained.
The President emphasized that the economic potential of Ukraine can be much higher if more entrepreneurial ideas and talents are implemented.
“This requires conditions – clear boundaries for state intervention, minimal and rational regulation, strong state lobbying of Ukrainian business in the world, as well as our mutual respect – the state’s respect for entrepreneurs working in Ukraine and with Ukraine, and our business – for fair rules in the state.” Zelensky emphasized.
