One of the main innovations was the ability to quickly obtain an extract about the place of residence without queues, applications and visits to state institutions. To order a document, just open «Action», go to «Services» → «Place of residence», select «Statement of residence» and click «Order». The document will automatically appear in the application, and the user will receive a push notification about its readiness. The service is also available on the Diya portal for those using a computer. You can order an extract from any device — smartphone, tablet or laptop. A statement of residence is necessary in many cases — when registering social benefits, applying to banks or notaries. The document has legal force, contains a unique number and a QR code that allows you to instantly verify the authenticity by simply pointing the phone’s camera. Diya emphasizes that the address can also be confirmed using a digital passport — domestic or foreign. If the user has a passport-book issued before December 1, 2021, the stamp with the address remains valid. In the event that information about the place of residence is not displayed in the register, it is recommended to update the data in order to have access to all digital services. The service is also available for teenagers over 14 years old who have an identification code (RNOKPP). If the code has not yet been issued, parents can order an extract for a child under 15 years old.

75-80 thousand students of higher educational institutions will undergo basic military training. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed laws on the extension of martial law and general mobilization in the country for another 90 days — until August 6, 2025. Information on the signing of relevant laws appeared April 18 on the website of the Verkhovna Rada. The documents confirm presidential decrees regarding the extension of martial law and mobilization. The previous term ended on May 9, 2025. The Verkhovna Rada adopted these laws during its session on April 16. 357 People’s Deputies voted for the decision. Oleksiy Honcharenko was the only one who opposed it. According to the deputy, his position is related to two factors: the lack of clearly defined terms of service for those mobilized in the legislation, as well as issues related to the work of the Territorial Centers of Recruitment and Social Support (TCC and SP). The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the procedure for maintaining the State Register of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). About this informs Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food. The document was prepared by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine in accordance with the Law of Ukraine «On State Regulation of Genetic Engineering Activities and State Control of Placing Genetically Modified Organisms and Products on the Market». The resolution provides for the creation of a single state information system for accounting, monitoring, integration, storage and distribution of data on registered GMOs. The implementation of the register is a necessary step to ensure transparency in the field of biotechnology, increase the level of consumer safety and comply with Ukraine’s obligations under the Association Agreement with the European Union. The document also harmonizes national legislation with EU regulations on the handling of GMOs, in particular with Directive 2001/18/EC on the intentional release of GMOs into the environment and Commission Decision 2004/204/EC on the functioning of registers for recording information on GMOs. This makes it possible to create a control and accounting system similar to the European one, aimed at reducing risks to public health and the environment. Implementation of the resolution will also improve the system of state supervision in the field of GMOs, contribute to informing the public and international partners, as well as lay the foundation for the further development of biosafety in Ukraine. The document will enter into force simultaneously with the Law of Ukraine «On State Regulation of Genetic Engineering Activities and State Control of Placing Genetically Modified Organisms and Products on the Market» — in September 2026.
