The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine published the text of the memorandum with the United States of America on preparations for the conclusion of an official agreement on economic partnership and the creation of an investment fund for the reconstruction of the country. Document available on the official website of the Ministry of Economy. It states that the future agreement provides for the creation of a special investment fund for the recovery of Ukraine. It is also emphasized that it will pave the way for attracting large-scale investments, modernization of infrastructure and deepening of mutually beneficial partnership between Ukraine and the USA. «He confirms the desire of the American people to invest together with the Ukrainian people in a free, sovereign and safe Ukraine», says the message. According to the text of the memorandum, both sides recognize Ukraine’s important contribution to ensuring international peace and security, in particular its voluntary renunciation of the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal. In addition, the United States confirms respect for Ukraine’s obligations in the context of its European integration course, as well as for agreements with international financial institutions and official creditors. «That is, work on the agreement cannot cause conflicts for Ukraine’s European integration path», — the department added. As stipulated in the document, the negotiating teams of both states must submit a report on the progress of the negotiations by April 26, 2025. The memorandum was signed by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and First Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliya Svyridenko. Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the law on the ratification of the agreement with Japan on the protection of information. 293 People’s Deputies supported the draft law No. 0301. The document aims to create legal mechanisms for the exchange of information between the state structures of Ukraine and Japan, in particular, if necessary, secret information. The executors of this international agreement on the Ukrainian side will be state bodies, enterprises, institutions and organizations that carry out activities related to state secrets in accordance with current legislation. The Embassy of Japan in Ukraine positively assessed the ratification of the document, stressing that it will contribute to the further exchange of information between the countries: «This will contribute to further mutually beneficial exchange of information. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi stated, that in 1992 Ukraine had 225 air defense systems at its disposal. However, over time, most of them «disappeared». According to the head of state, by 2000, the number of air defense systems in Ukraine had decreased to 168-169 units, and already in 2019, about 60 remained. Zelensky noted that the rest disappeared during the years 2000-2019. «I’m not talking about who stole or sold what from us there. Ministry of Defense of Ukraine creates register of providers of psychological assistance to military personnel among civilian specialists in the field of mental health. This issue was discussed during a meeting of representatives of the Ministry and the Armed Forces of Ukraine with public organizations. The register will contain verified information about organizations or individual specialists, their qualifications, capabilities and a list of services they can provide to military personnel within the scope of psychological assistance. «On the state of the mental health of the military depends on the motivation to perform the service, as well as the readiness to perform the assigned tasks. In the conditions of war, we have no right to postpone the resolution of the mental health issues of our defenders. It is about human life, dignity, recovery after losses and trials.» — stressed the head of the Department of Psychological Support of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Oleg Mukan. During the meeting, representatives of public organizations also presented initiatives to scale up efforts in the following areas: launching a crisis counseling hotline; organization of online and stationary counseling for military personnel and their families; creation of conditions for inpatient psychological rehabilitation; training of deputy company commanders in the basics of psychological methods; training assistant psychologists to support mental stability in combat conditions. The ministry notes that the creation of such a register will help managers of psychological support bodies and personnel of the Armed Forces to quickly find accredited organizations with the necessary specialization in their region. In addition, the list will simplify the interaction between the military and the public sector, expanding the ability of the military to receive quality professional assistance.

The National Bank of Ukraine has put into circulation a commemorative coin «Easter joy. Pysanka» with a denomination of 10 hryvnias. About this informs NBU press office. «Ukrainian pysanka stands out from the rest — refined, rich in ornaments and content, it embodies a deep tradition and centuries-old mastery of pysanka. In 2024, this Ukrainian decorative art will be officially included in UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.» — the message says. The egg-shaped coin is made of 999th grade silver, decorated with enamel and local gilding. Its circulation is up to 15 thousand pieces. The author of the design is Oleksandra Kuchynska. The reverse of the coin depicts a traditional Easter egg from the Odesa region, known as «Sorokoput» or «Cossack levadas», decorated with ornaments with a deep symbolic meaning. The obverse is decorated with a stylized tree of life in the shape of an oak, studded with 12 Easter eggs, which depict the ancient symbols of Ukrainian ancestors. The Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law «On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On Physical Culture and Sports’ Regarding Adaptive Sports». About this reported people’s deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko. «Adaptive sport» will officially appear in Ukraine — a new direction for supporting people with disabilities and war victims, draft law No. 9485 was adopted as a whole. — Honcharenko said in the message.
