1260 aerial bombs, almost 750 attack drones, more than 10 missiles of various types in a week: Zelenskyy on massive attacks by the Russian Federation

February 9, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi reported, that over the past week, Russian forces have carried out massive aerial terror against Ukrainians, launching more than 1,260 aerial bombs, almost 750 attack drones and more than 10 missiles of various types.
Zelenskyi emphasized that Russia’s military production, which enables such attacks, is based on three main factors: the circumvention of sanctions, which allows obtaining critical components, high oil prices, which provide economic support, and Ukraine’s lack of long-range missiles and drones.
The President thanked international partners who continue to increase sanctions pressure on Russia. He stressed the need to increase global efforts to limit the capabilities of Russia’s oil industry, which is an important source of funding for the Kremlin’s military machine.
Zelensky paid special attention to the need to increase Ukrainian production of long-range missiles and drones. He called on partners to actively invest in the domestic defense industrial complex, noting that such investments are investments in the safety and protection of people’s lives.
This statement emphasizes the urgency of intensifying international sanctions, economic pressure on Russia, and expanding Ukraine’s defense potential through domestic production and international cooperation.
