Ukraine confiscated UAH 15 billion worth of Russian assets: factories, shopping centers and banks are among the largest

Assets of collaborators and aides of the Russians, including Boguslaev, Balytskyi, Saldo, Yanukovych and dozens of other sanctioned individuals, were confiscated.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has confiscated at least 15 billion hryvnias worth of Russian assets. Among the confiscated objects are the property of Russian oligarchs, such as Deripaska, Rotenberg, Giner, Shelkov, Yevtushenkov. About this informs “Center for Combating Corruption” (CPK).

According to the CPC, the assets of collaborators and aides of Russia, including Boguslaev, Balytskyi, Saldo, Yanukovych and dozens of other sanctioned persons, were also confiscated.

The State Property Fund reported that it has already accepted 1,175 objects transferred to its management. The total book value of these assets is 13.5 billion hryvnias. In addition, 686.5 million hryvnias placed in bank accounts and claim rights for 40.9 million hryvnias were transferred to the Fund.

Among the largest confiscated assets:

  • Mykolaiv Alumina Plant and other assets of the Russian billionaire Deripaska.
  • “Aerok” LLC is a leading manufacturer of aerated concrete products in Ukraine, which belonged to the sanctioned Russian oligarch Molchanov.
  • 100% share in the charter capital of Vinnytsia Aviation Plant LLC, MSB Helicopters, 90.1% of Motor-Garant Insurance Company and three other companies owned by Boguslaev, as well as over 630 million hryvnias.
  • The capital shopping center Ocean Plaza, which belonged to the sanctioned Russian oligarchs the Rotenberg brothers and their business partners.
  • “PentoPak Ukraine”, which belonged to the Russian-Greek oligarch Savvidi, was sold at a public auction for 103 million dollars.

In addition, hundreds of other objects of movable and immovable property were confiscated, including the residence of Mezhihirya and shares in the authorized capital of dozens of legal entities. However, a significant part of these assets currently remains in the temporarily occupied territories.
