178 combat clashes per day: General Staff report on the situation at the front

The Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the massive offensive of the Russian occupation forces. As of 22:00 on June 14, 2025, the fighting situation remains tense along the entire front line, and the number of combat encounters has reached 178. This is reported General Staff of the Armed Forces
Russian troops intensified the use of missile, aviation and drone weapons during the past day. During the day, the enemy carried out one missile strike and carried out 56 air strikes, using one missile and 63 guided air bombs. In addition, the enemy engaged 1,249 kamikaze drones for attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. The total number of shelling was 4124 per day.
On the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops tried three times to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian defenders in the Kamianka area, as well as in the directions of the settlements of Liptsi and Krasne Pershe. In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy made five attempts to attack the positions of the Defense Forces near Kindrashyvka, Petropavlivka, as well as towards Golubivka and Novoplatonivka. At the time of the evening assembly, two active combat clashes were ongoing.
In the Lymansky direction, Ukrainian units repelled seventeen enemy attacks in the areas of Ridkodub, Yampolivka, Zelena Dolyna, Serebryanskyi Forest, as well as in the directions of Hlushchenkovo, Olhivka, Novy Mir, Torsky, and Shandrygolovo. Two attacks were still ongoing as of evening.
The Seversky direction remained tense during the day: Ukrainian soldiers repelled five attacks by Russian units that tried to advance in the direction of Hryhorivka and Verkhnyokamyanskyi. All attempts of the enemy were stopped.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled six enemy assaults carried out by the enemy in the directions of Stupochy and Bila Hora. In the Toretsk direction, twenty-one attempted offensives by Russian troops were recorded in the Diliivka, Toretsk, Shcherbinivka, Romanivka areas, as well as in the Pleshchiivka and Yablunivka areas. One combat clash continued in the area.
The largest number of attacks yesterday was recorded in the Pokrovsky direction. During the day, the Russian army carried out forty-five attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the areas of Malynyivka, Myrolyubivka, Promenya, Lysivka, Novosergiivka, Udachny, Horikhovo, as well as in the directions of Myrny, Novoukrainka, Muravka, and Oleksiivka. Ukrainian soldiers stopped forty-four assaults, another combat clash continued into the evening.
The enemy suffered significant losses precisely in the Pokrovsky direction. According to preliminary data, the occupiers lost 210 people killed and wounded here alone. Ukrainian units destroyed six cars, twelve motorcycles, eleven unmanned aerial vehicles, a Murom-M visual surveillance station, two UAV control antennas, three armored fighting vehicles, two guns and one means of radio-electronic warfare of the enemy.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled twenty-three attacks by Russian units near the settlements of Rozlyv, Bagatyr, Novosilka, as well as in the directions of Shevchenko and Vilniy Pol. As of the evening, two more active combat clashes continued.
No combat clashes were recorded in the Gulyaipil direction. On the other hand, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled the enemy’s assault in the direction of Novoandriivka in the Orihiv direction.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy made two unsuccessful attempts to advance in the area of the Antoniv bridge.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces also continue to hold back the enemy’s onslaught in the Kursk direction. Thirty-three Russian attacks were repelled here over the past day, six more combat clashes continued as of evening.
