Urban cadastre is being created in Ukraine: what does it mean for cities
This step will significantly improve the quality of development of urban planning documentation.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the resolution on the launch of an experimental project on the implementation of the urban cadastre at the national level, informs press service of the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure.
This step is aimed at significantly improving the quality of urban planning documentation.
The Ministry notes that in order to effectively restore Ukraine, it is necessary to use modern and integrated approaches to reconstruction. Transparency, automation and standardization of all processes are identified as key elements for a long-term and effective recovery.
“Implementation of the urban cadastre at the state level will strengthen the capabilities of rural and urban communities in the development of digital documents“, the Ministry of Infrastructure emphasized.
The cadastre will provide an opportunity to accompany the development, verification and preservation of urban planning documents in a single register, and will also include an electronic user account.
As specified by the Ministry of Infrastructure, the beginning of the cadastre operation is planned for a month after the entry into force of the resolution.
It is worth adding that the implementation of the Unified State Register of Addresses (USR) is also starting in Ukraine, which will facilitate the organization of data on real estate objects in the context of urban planning and property rights.
