A training financing program for young entrepreneurs is launched in Ukraine

The international humanitarian organization CORE Response will finance educational programs, courses and trainings in Ukraine, which will contribute to the development of professional skills of young entrepreneurs. the program implement within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed during the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 with the participation of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, CORE and Oschadbank.

“Young entrepreneurs are the future of the country’s economy. They are full of enthusiasm, creativity and the desire to open their own business. Working in conditions of uncertainty associated with war, with interruptions in electricity and supply, Ukrainian youth not only continue to run a business, but also look for development opportunities. Lack of professional skills and knowledge stands in the way of such development. That is why CORE initiated a program to support young entrepreneurs by paying for their professional training. We are sure that this is not just aid, but an investment in the development of the Ukrainian economy.”, — said Liana Horovytska, executive director of CORE in Ukraine.

Program participants will self-select the certified educational products that meet their needs. To join, young entrepreneurs must complete a survey and submit an application. Mandatory conditions for participation are age from 18 to 35 years and receipt of a grant from the Ministry of Economy within the framework of the “Own business” program.

The program allows both to compensate for the costs of already completed training and to cover the cost of the future. Special attention is planned to be paid to the support of internally displaced persons and entrepreneurs who suffered from the war. More details are promised to be published on partners’ websites and social networks.

“Today, a new generation of entrepreneurs is being born in Ukraine – proactive, creative, ambitious. And at the same time – decisive, persistent, brave. Ready to invest their energy, talent, capital in their own business. In a country at war, in conditions of constant challenges that require an instant reaction and extraordinary resilience. These young people consciously choose to live, work, create and win in Ukraine.

We, as the state, provide them with maximum support: through grant programs for starting and scaling businesses, through educational and mentoring projects that help young entrepreneurs to reveal their potential and confidently go towards their goals. Thanks to our partners, today we open another opportunity for them — we provide tools for further professional growth and reaching a new level. I am convinced that this will be another powerful step not only towards their personal success, but also towards the development of the country’s economy.”, — said Tetyana Berezhna, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
