A woman who disappeared more than 50 years ago was found alive in Britain

In Great Britain, it was possible to find a living woman who disappeared back in 1972 in the city of Coventry. This case was one of the longest in the country related to the search for missing persons. This is reported by The Guardian.
Sheila Fox, now 68, disappeared at the age of 16. At that time she lived with her parents. West Midlands Police believed she may have had a relationship with a man or moved out of the area.
West Midlands Police recently appealed for the public’s help in the search for Sheila again, releasing a photograph taken at the time of her disappearance. Only a few hours later, investigators managed to get information that led to her whereabouts.
“Investigating officers found one photograph of Sheila from around the time she went missing and posted it on our website and social media. Within hours of the appeal members of the public got in touch with information which led the team to her.”, – the police officers noted.
Law enforcement officers confirmed that Sheila is alive and well and lives in another region of the country. They noted that the investigation, which lasted more than 50 years, was successfully completed.
“We are delighted to announce the conclusion of one of West Midlands Police’s longest running missing person investigations”, – emphasized the police.
