About 40,000 Ukrainians liable for military service received reservations with significant violations: NV

As part of the optimization of the mobilization system, the government of Ukraine is preparing to significantly revise the list of critically important enterprises that receive priority for the reservation of their employees. About this writes NV edition.

The new changes may even cover strategic industries, in particular the defense-industrial complex (OPK) and the energy industry, which until now had practically the full right to protect personnel from mobilization.

According to the new initiative, instead of 100% reservation of employees of critical enterprises, the quota can be reduced to 70-90%. Such an initiative is aimed at balancing the needs of the front and industrial sectors, which should ensure the economic and military stability of the country. This is expected to help optimize resources and increase efficiency in the use of human capital.

The assessment of enterprises’ compliance with the criteria of “critical importance” will be carried out by representatives of territorial procurement centers (TCC) together with military administrations at the regional level. This approach will make it possible to determine in more detail the real needs of each enterprise and reduce the risks of abuse of the reservation privilege.
