After the increase in excise taxes, prices for gasoline and diesel fuel increased by 1.5-3 hryvnias per liter

Since the increase in excise duties, prices for all types of fuel in Ukrainian gas station networks have continued to rise, although the rate of increase has somewhat slowed down. About this informs enkorr referring to data Consulting Group “A-95”.

The average price of A-95 gasoline increased by 15 kopecks and now amounts to UAH 56.96 per liter. The cost of diesel fuel increased by 29 kopecks, reaching 55.22 hryvnias/l, and liquefied gas rose by 10 kopecks, to 37.15 hryvnias/l.

The most significant increase in prices was observed in the “Ukr-Petrol” chain, where gasoline rose by UAH 1.60 to UAH 54.50/l, and diesel fuel by UAH 2.10 to UAH 53.50/l. The price of fuel in the “U.GO” network also increased by hryvnia, while discounters “Avantaz 7” and “Parallel” raised the prices of diesel fuel by UAH 1.50, to UAH 51.95/l and UAH 58.82/l, respectively. In economy segment networks, prices rose by 6-90 kopecks per liter.

Since the beginning of January, when excise duties were significantly increased, all types of fuel have risen in price on average by 1.5-3 hryvnias per liter. However, as noted in “A-95”, the main impact of the increase in excise duties has already been taken into account in prices, and the cost of wholesale batches of fuel has begun to decrease.
