Almost half a million pensioners will receive payments by Independence Day: details from the PFU

The Pension Fund of Ukraine included one-time assistance for Independence Day for 471,000 pensioners in the August payments. About this informs press service of PFU.
“Pensioners who are entitled to such assistance will receive it together with the August pension on the specified payment date”, – stated in the message.
The PFU also specified that the funds for payments to military personnel and other persons who are entitled to assistance, but are not pensioners, will be transferred to the accounts of military units, institutions and organizations in accordance with the submitted applications.
For other persons who are entitled to a one-time payment, but are not in the service and are not pensioners, the assistance is paid on the condition that a corresponding application is submitted to the PFU with supporting documents and information about the bank account.
“Applications for one-time monetary assistance for the Independence Day of Ukraine can be submitted until October 1, 2024”, the message says.
Payments for Independence Day
We will remind that in 2024, by Independence Day, certain categories of Ukrainians will be able to receive one-time assistance in the amount of 450 to 3,100 hryvnias.
These payments are scheduled until August 24, 2024 and are distributed as follows:
- Persons with disabilities due to war and former juvenile prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos or other places of forced detention:
Group I — 3,100 hryvnias;
II group — 2900 hryvnias;
III group — 2,700 hryvnias;
- Participants in hostilities, injured participants of the Revolution of Dignity, former minor prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other places of forced detention, as well as children born in such places – 1,000 hryvnias;
- Persons with special services to the Motherland – 3100 hryvnias;
- Family members of deceased (deceased) war veterans, defenders of Ukraine, spouses (husbands) of deceased persons with disabilities as a result of the war who did not remarry – 650 hryvnias;
- Participants in the war, former prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, persons forcibly deported to forced labor, children of partisans, underground and other participants in the struggle against the Nazi regime – 450 hryvnias.
