At the Medvedchuk watch auction, 8 lots were sold for UAH 3.6 million on the first day

During the auction for the sale of a part of the seized watch collection of Viktor Medvedchuk, a former People’s Deputy of Ukraine, 8 out of 20 lots were successfully sold for a total of about 3.6 million hryvnias.
For data Olena Duma, head of the National Agency for Search and Asset Management (ARMA), said 18 people who actively competed for watches from Medvedchuk’s collection participated in the auction.
The first lot that was sold was a Rolex watch with a starting price of 416,583 hryvnias. After the end of the bidding, its price increased to 550 thousand hryvnias.
The most expensive sold lot among these eight was a watch of the elite brand Patek Philippe, which was sold for 1,271,503 hryvnias.

A Parmigiani Fleurier watch with a portrait of Oksana Marchenko, Medvedchuk’s wife, went under the hammer for 485,000 hryvnias at a starting price of 302,629 hryvnias.
The Dolce & Gabbana watch was sold for 233,777 hryvnias, slightly exceeding the starting price of 219,136 hryvnias.
The “Moscow Kremlin” copy was sold for 105,678 hryvnias, which significantly exceeded the starting price of 17,474 hryvnias.
Another Rolex watch found a new owner for 700,001 hryvnias, starting the bidding from the starting price of 547,328 hryvnias.
Another Rolex was sold for 550,000 hryvnias at the starting price of 416,583 hryvnias.
The Cartier watch went for 200,001 hryvnias, exceeding the starting price of 162,500 hryvnias.
The “State Reserve of Ukraine” watch was sold for 41,500 hryvnias, which significantly exceeded the initial price of 2,597 hryvnias.
The total amount of proceeds, which amounted to almost 3.6 million hryvnias, will be transferred to the state budget and directed to the purchase of military bonds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
