BES employee became the owner of an apartment in Odesa worth over UAH 4 million

Senior detective of the Bureau of Economic Security Maksym Kondratiuk declared a new real estate purchase worth over UAH 4 million, while his annual salary is UAH 420,000. Changes in Kondratiuk’s financial statements confirm this acquisition.
Maksym Kondratiuk, a senior detective of the Odesa Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security, entered in his declaration the purchase of a 117 sq m apartment in Odesa. At the time of purchase, on 24 October 2024, its value was UAH 4.22 million, of which a one-time payment amounted to UAH 844.2 thousand. In 2023, Kondratiuk declared an income of UAH 426.5 thousand.
The detective’s family also owns another apartment of 47.6 m², purchased by his wife in 2014 for UAH 295,120.
Kondratiuk indicated that he uses a 2017 Hyundai Tucson, owned by his father, Ihor Kondratiuk. The declaration does not indicate the market value of the car, but states that the detective has the right to use it.
Oleh Drankov, Head of the Department of Infrastructure, State Property and Economic Activity of Odesa Customs, also purchased an apartment worth over UAH 700,000, which is significantly higher than his annual income.
Oleksandr Urbanskyi, deputy chairman of the Odesa regional council, may receive a fine for failing to declare an Audi car worth around UAH 5 million.
In addition, the new head of the Bolhrad District Court, Alla Kravtsova, who replaced Svitlana Kodintseva, declared a 111.6 sq m house and a 1,150 sq m land plot in the village of Vapnyarka, Odesa region. The value of the house is estimated at UAH 3.33 million, and the land at UAH 391.7 thousand.
