The Action app will soon have a new feature that will allow you to obtain and renew gun permits. It was reported deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Bohdan Drapyaty.
According to him, from June 2023, the Unified Register of Weapons and the electronic office of the owner of weapons will be functioning in Ukraine. These tools have greatly facilitated the process of submitting documents for obtaining or renewing gun permits.
Previously, the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a survey among users of the electronic cabinet, which revealed that citizens are interested in expanding the functionality. Popular requests include adding maps of shooting ranges, shooting ranges, gun repair shops, and stores that sell them.
“Demand for digitalization of services remains high. This is our key priority in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, defined by the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko”, — emphasized Bohdan Drapyatyi.
According to his conviction, the function of obtaining and extending permits for weapons through “Diya” will be a logical continuation of the integration of digital technologies in the field of weapons circulation. This will not only facilitate citizens’ access to administrative services, but also strengthen control over arms circulation in Ukraine.
