The employees of the State Criminal Investigation Department opened criminal proceedings on the fact of the murder of a teenager by a law enforcement officer at the station of the Kyiv funicular
On April 8, employees of the State Criminal Investigation Department opened a criminal investigation into the murder of a minor at the funicular station in Kyiv, which was reported on official website services
On April 7, a conflict arose at the funicular station between a man who works as a driver for a law enforcement agency and a boy. After exiting the train at the upper station, the law enforcement officer pushed the teenager, after which he fell, breaking the glass with his head, and received a fatal neck cut. The boy died at the scene.

At some point, a man in a military uniform, without identification marks, did not like that 16-year-old teenagers were having fun, and decided to show his military patriotism. Approaching in a drunken state with the words: “Are you ready to repay the debt to the Motherland?” Maksym answered confidently that he was ready., – it is written on the page of the sports club “Chaika” on the page in the social network Instagram.
At the moment, the law enforcement officer is detained, a complex of operative and investigative actions is being conducted and the issue of declaring him suspected of premeditated murder (Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is being resolved. Procedural management is carried out by the Kyiv Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the field of defense.
