BetonEnergo, a company producing fortifications, is asking for protection from Zelenskyi due to pressure from the BEB
The manufacturer of reinforced concrete fortification structures “BetonEnergo” (ToV “Zavod zelizodnychnyh plant “Road and energy structures”) addressed the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi with an open letter, in which he expressed complaints about the pressure from the Bureau of Economic Security (BEB).
As informs Interfax-Ukraine, on September 12, simultaneous searches took place at 12 addresses related to the company.
“Simultaneous, groundless searches took place on absolutely far-fetched, poorly fabricated charges. Simultaneous searches took place not only in the homes of the company’s managers, but also in the homes of ordinary employees, where wives, small children, and elderly parents were during the search. Simultaneously, searches took place in seven divisions of our company, at factories and offices in two different cities of Ukraine, which led to the complete blocking of the company’s work”, – the message says.
“BetonEnergo” notes that the reason for the searches was the alleged non-compliance of the shelters with the requirements for protection against blast waves of class A-II. However, according to the company, these allegations are baseless as BEB did not conduct any product testing prior to the raids. The only basis for “investigative actions” was an examination conducted by an unknown organization, the name of which was not even mentioned in the court documents.
The company emphasizes that their shelters have passed all the necessary tests and have documents confirming compliance with state protection standards of class A-II. They also note that BEB’s actions are deliberately aimed at undermining the company’s reputation and blocking its work.
“It should be noted that the BetonEnergo company (ToV “Zavod zelizonnykh produkte “Road and Energy Constructions”) is a strategically important enterprise of Ukraine, one of the main producers of reinforced concrete structures for fortification, construction and protection of energy facilities and civil protection of the population. Due to the complete blocking of all offices and factories, the formation and shipment of structures for the above-mentioned structures did not take place.
We consider such actions an undermining of Ukraine’s defense capabilities. We hope for your support and an objective and fair consideration of the case”, – summed up the authors of the appeal.
